Kobe | Living with HAE (they/them)

Kobe pulls the headphones from their head and lays them down on the desk in their room. They have been diligently working on their next podcast episode. The KOBLIZZY podcast was a project that Kobe started after dropping out of college, and has now taken on a life of its own.

It is one of many aspects of Kobe’s persona that cause others to take notice—a creative energy that is impossible to ignore. The budding artist has a diversified set of talents. Whether it’s singing, acting, modeling, or just speaking their mind, Kobe gravitates toward the limelight.

“Kobe has always been an entertainer,” says Lesa, their mother. “We started out with Fisher-Price microphones when they were two. We have bought microphones for Christmas every year since.” Kobe’s desire to be heard has endured through years of transitions, including their journey to accept their own identity in the world.
